Because I’m a stats geek………
Since we were married I’ve kept maps of all the states we have been to for each person in our family.
Here’s the high level breakdown as it stands currently:
- Jeremiah
- When we got married in September 2004 I had already been to half of the states (25), Canada, & Mexico
- I have now been to 38 states, Canada, Mexico, & Aruba
- Charity
- When we got married Charity had already been to 22 states & Mexico
- She’s now been to 35 states, Canada, Mexico, & Aruba
- Jadon = 23 states & Canada
- Rylan = 21 states
- Austin = 15 states
- Gilon = 5 states
Additionally, here’s some other data points regarding our travel history since we’ve been married:
- 66 work trips to 17 different states, Canada, and District of Columbia. As much as possible I took Charity & the boys with me.
- 4 family reunions and numerous family trips to KS, TN, SC, GA, and TX
- 3 short (weekend) family vacations (WI, MI, TN)
- 2 long (week) family vacations (Mt. Rushmore road trip & Colorado)
- 3 short (weekend) couple get-aways (TN, MI, OH) plus a few Sybaris stays
- 3 long (week) couple get-aways (PA, AZ, Aruba)
- 2 KBE trips (Ozarks in AR, Wild Area in PA)
- 2 Boys’ Kamps (my back yard)
- Numerous deer hunting camps & tent camping trips (usually short duration & close to home)
